Quality Leadership has always been about reducing variation, e.g., reducing the gap between the real and ideal.
Vision - Long version. This Weblog is work in progress …. the long-term vision–with the significant help of the “virtual community,” is to refine and expand the understanding, awareness and application of the quality technology that will result in individual and group success stories that collectively, will be recognized for consideration of a Nobel Peace Prize. (Technology defined as the practical application of knowledge).
Vision - Short Version. It’s all about reducing variation.
My name is Tim Clark, and my aim is to raise awareness of a more effective leadership paradigm and how this paradigm can be applied at any level and by any leader to achieve the type of success that will benefit almost everyone. Feedback I have received from literally hundreds of people, have described the paradigm as: What you don’t know you know, but should know.
I’m writing a second book with a focus on Global Transformation, Quality and Strategic Leadership which will be a follow-on to my first book (Success Through Quality). The weblog postings and comments will support this endeavor.
Weblog. I’ll be posting topics that have impacts internationally (strategic level) but also plan on including community topics (operational level). Examples of tactical level applications are available on my website. I plan on summarizing the posts using the Leadership Framework that may help develop an understading of the paradigm.
The “so-what” is that the potential exists for application of a common language and proven framework that can be universally shared and applied by Quality Leaders to increase prosperity and peace and prevent, resolve and/or minimizing conflict. This technology (practical application of knowledge) enables the application of what the U.S. Secretary of Defense has referred to as Smart Power.
